Tom Jarmusch, Dream (2004) «document, memory for my friend Bill Rice – a video sketch for a 16mm film» (2006) Tom Jarmusch lives in New York and has made films, videos and photographs using all kinds of media. He has been artistic director for other directors like Robert Frank, Claire Denis, Aki Kaurismaki, Ang Lee, Michael Almereyda and for his brother Jim Jarmusch. Nemo Librizzi, In the Cups (2006), HD, sound, 20’ In In the Cups, Ivan - skater and removalist’s boy - is a highly demonstrative and poetic drunk... in total contrast to his regular persona. videoart during this year’s LOOP has
helped to arouse the city's interest
in this art form and to transform
Barcelona into an international
platform showing a huge number of
projects that involve artists, curators,
national institutes of culture, schools,
festivals and professionals from over
60 countries.
This year, more than 800 artists
are taking part with works that will
be shown at 142 venues
around the city.
