The collaboration of museums, cultural centres, art galleries and other urban spaces that have agreed to show videoart during this year’s LOOP has helped to arouse the city's interest in this art form and to transform Barcelona into an international platform showing a huge number of projects that involve artists, curators, national institutes of culture, schools, festivals and professionals from over 60 countries. This year, more than 800 artists are taking part with works that will be shown at 142 venues around the city.
