Caroline Bourgeois will introduce the exhibition Passage du Temps, based on the François Pinault Foundation Collection, and talk about her intention to give historical perspective to a video collection. Her talk will shed light on the exhibition, which aimed above all to give an overview of the past 40 years in contemporary art, while allowing all kinds of viewers to engage with the different works. Bourgeois will also talk about the issue of installations versus single channel works, as well as problems of conservation. She has been the artistic director of the Plateau contemporary center in Paris, as well as the curator of Passage du Temps. She is currently preparing other shows with the François Pinault Foundation Collection.
